Although the earth has a fairly large supply of natural energy, such as oil, gas and hydrogen, it's not as endless as we may like to think. Sustained abuse over centuries of technological advances has left us having to look at alternative sources of energy to supply our ever-growing needs. Some of the best methods we're now beginning to look at more are those that can be reused. This is where companies like Enbridge Wind Power can play such a pivotal role, especially as their company motto is "The wind is there; we might as well use it."
Windmills Have Been Used For Centuries
The technology to use wind as an energy source has been around for centuries, and has constantly evolved into the advanced state we find it now. What Enbridge Wind Power does is use the same basic principles our forefathers did, but just in a more advanced and efficient manner. By using an energy source that is all around us, Enbridge can not only power the homes we live in and the offices we work from, but they can do it again and again by reusing the same energy, leaving more vulnerable sources such as coal and oil untouched.
With the success that Enbridge Wind Power has experienced, more and more companies are now adopting their methods. This isn't just nationwide, either; internationally, wind power is becoming a far more suitable source of energy, through not only its ability to be reused, but also in the way it refrains from polluting the atmosphere the same way oil and coal do.
In fact, with the success of Enbridge Wind Power and its technology allowing energy to be provided without the ensuing pollution, many Green campaigners are writing to Congress and other powerful associations in order to try and make other companies follow the Enbridge Wind Power solution. Online petitions have been set up, as have peaceful demonstrations to advertise to the bigger energy companies that there is a viable alternative out there.
Although it's a slow process, and information regarding this type of energy source is still reasonably limited, supporters of companies like Enbridge Wind Power are getting their message across. With time, patience and knowledge, it may not be too long before we stop need to relying on the likes of oil and coal as energy sources, allowing not only our planet to breathe easier, but our children and ourselves as well.
